I think the penalties are grossly unfair. I think it’s borderline shameful.

Usually when I’m mad, I’d rather listen to angry music than soothing music – more heavy metal, some Metallica or something.

Chapel services on race day have a calming effect. It’s a nice time for us to worship and try to get the message and hear some music and have a little fellowship together before we get to racing.

With my personality, I generally don’t like change a lot. I reflect back on things quicker than I should at times. So it seems like it’s gone by really quick. The older you get, the faster it seems to go by.

You've got personalities in people with reactions and emotions. That's what makes the sport so great, so I feel bad he got penalized at all.

You know, I was pretty comfortable where I was at. We had cars that could win races (at Roush). I know (Joe Gibbs Racing is) expecting me to perform and do my job. Before this year, I can't remember the last time I've ever been nervous at all inside of a race car.
